Biography of Jeff Zucker

Jeffrey Zucker, an American television producer, and the President and CEO of NBC Universal, was born on April 9, 1965.

He grew up in Homestead, a city in the southern part of Florida, near Miami, in a family of a cardiologist and a school teacher. During his teenage years, Jeff was the captain of the school tennis team, the editor of the newspaper, and a freelance reporter for "The Miami Herald." He also served as the class president, whose motto was "A small man with big ideas," making light of Zucker's height of 5 feet and 6 inches.

In his senior years of high school, Jeff studied journalism through the Northwestern University's high school program and later attended college.
